Car 49 outside the Stuttgart Mercedes-Benz Museum
In May 2011 we heard from W123_club member Thorsten Parmann in Germany who sent a note and photograph confirming that the Fowkes / O'Gorman Mercedes is indeed very well preserved in the Mercedes-Benz collection.
Thorsten said "I can confirm that car No.49 is in Stuttgart at the Mercedes-Benz Musuem - not in the exhibition but being held "ready to start" in a garage. Here is a picture made yesterday."
